Financial records, minutes of church business meetings, and lists of African American slaves and white members with dates of baptisms, deaths, dismissals, exclusions, and restorations. Includes historical sketch by J.A.W. Thomas. Records were copied as part of the South Carolina Historical Records Survey. Minutes from Sept. 16, 1832, include an interesting detail: "Brother C. Stubbs attended to some cases existing among the black members ... took up the charge against Mr. Mandaville Ned, it being for the harbouring a runaway Negroe after examining into the case Ned was found guilty and excommunicated."
